adding non steam games
Hi all pretty new here. I managed to add all my non steam launchers with the Non steam launchers sh. But I'm having a hard time understanding how to point steam to games installed by these launchers. Please bare in mind I come from windows so I'm having a bit of trouble wrapping my head around this. When I install a game on a launcher I see the file path as in windows. C:/etc etc but when I click add non steam game in desktop mode I can't find that app installed. I'm guessing it's being installed in another partition or something like that? Anyways appreciate any help getting this fixed.

Non steam launchersThis tool breaks every single wine best practice there is, we can't support it's use. We bundle Lutris OOTB, I would recommend switching to that.
Oh damn
No wonder I had such a hard time getting it to run. I'll check that out thanks. Do I have to do a clean install? Or where do I go from here?
I would just remove non-steam and then go from there, it can't have modified anything in your system files since Bazzite is immutable
Lutris is good for everything except EGS, which you can use with Heroic Launcher
And is there a way to add the heroic launcher stuff over to steam?
Right click on the game’s cover art > press details > press the three dots at top right > “Add to Steam”
Awesome 👍 thanks a lot

I have other issues should I open another thread for each?
here's fine
So I have a old plasma
And it has a lot of over scan
I fixed it in desktop mode with the scale for tv option
But gaming mode ignores that setting and most of the sides are cropped out
I'm afraid gamescope has no overscan option
Ok! Hopefully it can become a feature some time
Also Xbox controller with Bluetooth has a bit of issues sometimes connection drops, lag, and it does not pair automatically after boot.
Is this something Bluetooth related or Linux? Because I was thinking about buying the reciever if it would Improve performance
Also I think with the reciver you can passthrough audio?
Is this possible with bazzite?
Not sure on this one, there are some upstream BT issues but they shouldn't be a problem with xbox controllers, not in this way
BT audio works fine, but IIRC no controller-based audio jack works
most of those are proprietary
Maybe it's my dongle?
it's possible
can always double check w/ stock fedora silverblue/kinoite to see if the problem occurs there too

@Nicolas Andrade there is also an option to auto add to Steam in the global Heroic settings. Enable that
Awesome this helped a lot
However I added cyberpunk from gog and death strading from epic and neither had my current save game
did you download your save via the Heroic cloud sync menu?
No, that sounds like what I'm missing let me check
Heroic does not have auto sync enabled by default on purpose. you need to verify the save folder and also that it downloaded the right stuff to the right place just in case it pulls it to the wrong place or uploads from the wrong place
cross check the auto detected save folder with PC Gaming Wiki. note that some games use your Epic ID as part of the save path similar to Steam
Ok I'm setting it up right now
How good is it?
Would hate to break my saves
Also can't really see the whole path
NVM I pasted the file path on another app
Looks good
good, but I do suggest backing up your existing saves if you haven't ever done this before
Any info on how to do that?
go to the device where the saves are already there, backup those folders
Oh so I have to download those games
I think there used to be a utility
If they exist only in the cloud, just do the Download or Force Download options in Heroic and do not enable auto syncing until you know the saves work
