Optional add-ons
On the pricing page [https://railway.app/pricing]
It states that we can have optional add-ons.
However, the only option I see (currently hobby) is to "go pro".
Can someone clarify?
Do I need to "go pro" to get the optional extra storage ??

yeah that's a copy error, and its also very strange how volumes are advertised as an optional add on, volumes are very much not optional when you are deploying a database.
but in the mean time, you would need to upgrade to pro to get a 50gb volume, then you can simply click the grow button on the volume and continue on...

I think the optional add on refers to persistent volumes and premium support
you can attach any service with a persistent volume that allows you to store files persistently
you can do this by right clicking on a service - you should see an option there
premium support is only available on pro plan, so you'd need to upgrade to pro plan to get that
You are probably correct, but it is confusing from this
"Pick your plan" - i am on hobby
"Optional add-ons" - Persistent volume.
The issue is only arising as my DB is filling up and I would like to expand it - but that doesn't seem possible ??
Of course - I can go Pro - but that is a large cost jump and for only aquiring an "add-on" that I will have to pay more for on top of the "pro" plan.
Huh, yeah, I can see how that's confusing
And I think the volume limit is 5GB on hobby, but this makes it a bit confusing
CC @Christian - the pricing page remains confusing

Thank you for the feedback; this was indeed a copy error and it has now been fixed on the pricing page.
