Where to find short vests for high waisted pants?
Could be tailored waistcoats or sweater vests. Just looking for a middle layer that's not absurdly long, that doesn't cover the pleats of high waisted trousers.

i like finding vintage ralph or occasional 1940s-1960s ons on ebay, just avoiding acryllic

i think they cut a lot of their middle layer stuff short to be worn with tailoring
Personally I really like cardigan sweater vests with highwaisted pants. Wearing them open really shows off the waist

Surely anyone selling three-piece suits has at least some vests cut for high rise? Vests should more or less cover the waistband and are usually cut in a shape that would begin to cover the pleats, just barely. OP, can you post photos of good vs bad?
