Chunks only generated with LODs have broken borders between other LOD-only-generated chunks

In the foreground of the picture (slightly to the left and just outside the normally rendered chunks) the ring of LOD chunks with unbroken borders have been generated by flying over them and loading them normally, while the chunks in the background (especially off to the right) with broken borders have only been generated by the LOD generator. Those with broken borders appear to have discontinuous heights between borders. The resulting gaps allow light to illuminate through them, resulting in the grid pattern seen in those chunks (much more noticeable during the day). I've only noticed it in ocean chunks as it's most noticeable with the lighting but I imagine it is an issue for others as well. No error messages appear, and the results have persisted after deleting and regenerating the LOD file.

Edit: not between individual chunks, but at least in this image between 4x4 chunk grids Also using a ported version of indium in order to run 1.20.2 with sodium 0.5.5 https://github.com/comp500/Indium/pull/262

Update to Sodium 0.5.4/0.5.5 and Minecraft 1.20.3/1.20.4 by Vieur ·...
This is my first time porting this mod, so I might be unable to fix it if you guys encounter any issues. EDIT: I saw that 1.20.4 has been released. This should still work on that version.

a known issue https://discord.com/channels/881614130614767666/961441646967406593/1183269708590497943 Also, you could try a binary search and figure out which mod is causing it. So disable half of the mods, see if issue is still there, if yes disable half again etc etc until you find the mod that's causing the issue.

If you delete the DH config, reboot MC, and create a new world; does that solve the problem? I can’t reproduce your issue.
