Hello, Iris/Sodium aren't appearing in my Minecraft session
I started a new modpack on curseforge and manually added iris/sodium and I did it the way the guides say to but whenever I go to open minecraft to see if it's working the shader menu does not appear. I will post screenshots in a moment, please let me know what's wrong!

it seems to work for unmodded minecraft
why did you put your iris-reserved folder in the shaderpacks folder?
also "the way the guides say" is not helpful. What exactly did you do to try to get sodium and iris working?
what mod loader are you using?
i was mostly following some guy called the breakdown. I thought the iris folder went into shaderpacks! that must be it, where should it go instead?
it does not go anywhere. iris-reserved should never be touched and is only for the standalone sodium and iris instance on the vanilla launcher
you need to get sodium and iris from modrinth and put them in your mods folder

and as a note this will only work if you have fabric or quilt installed on your instance. yeah im using fabric. i just didnt know they went into the mods folder.
i installed it to the mods folder but theres no difference still

I don't see sodium nor iris in that folder
and iris-reserved should not be there
please read carefully
weird. it generated automatically when i used the iris installer so i assumed it belonged there.
as I said that is only for the vanilla launcher

and only for the standalone profile it installs
get sodium and iris as fabric mods from the links I sent above and put them both in your mods folder
