Elytra model with EMF not working the same when shaders are enabled

Hey, so I made an elytra model with EMF (entity model features) that is supposed to act like a cape and I noticed that some of my animations don't work as intended when shaders are enabled with iris. I don't necessarily think its iris's fault, but it might be useful to find out what is causing this incompatibility. I have attached some examples of my problems: 1. my calculations for y speed do not seem to be accurate 2. Walking backwards should prevent the cape from going up, but it still does when I have shaders on (only at some angles though)

this happens with both 1.20.1 and 1.20.2

here is my (probably unoptimized) code for the animation

traben found a fix, basically I need to keep the pos varibles for one more frame/step beacsue or else the extra player model that iris renders for the shadow will use those
