Can someone explain what :testing is?
Like is it closer to upstream Fedora? How does things go from :testing to :latest? Does :testing have newer ublue components like justfiles than :latest? Is :testing closer to upstream SteamOS than :latest?

:testing as the name implies is where things are tested before being pushed to :latest in order to avoid breaking things for people who want something stable that is known to workthat is good
just another branch in git, all images are equally close to fedora upstream
testing merely has changes we deem important to test
same for unstable
