Help an amateur decide a jeans fit
Hello I wanted to own a pair of light blue jeans that would be versatile, look good and go well with most outfits,
Recently pulled the trigger on these 31/30 Straight fit jeans
I would prefer if the rise was higher(since that’s how I would generally like to style them),
the seat feels a little loose (I think?),
the pants taper beyond my knees which I dislike,
and I don’t have any strong opinions on the hem length.
Should I keep these or buy a more relaxed fit from the same brand (also attached pictures in a comment below; link - https://www2.hm.com/en_in/productpage.0875105036.html)

Wouldn’t the seat be looser too tho? That’s what I’m worried about?

I’m 99% on the side of returning them and getting a relaxed fit
My opinion is that these arent that flattering on you, and you could probably do better

id just try the one you had in mind, its hard to to be specific, as its the specific item rather than anything else
Pass. Too slim. Too low rise. Bunches in weird ways. I also hate the pockets half on the ass half on the thigh.
