Octopus Max Ez SuperPinda Probe Always Triggered
Probe has a red led on constantly. The led turns off when placing metal near the probe.
Tried a variety of other settings however the probe is either in a constant triggered or open state in Ratos > Machine section. It never changes states even when the probe led changes state when putting metal next to it.
Tripple checked the wiring everything looks good. Jumper is on the 5v pins. Its on the right socket per the wiring guide and labels on the board.
Any help is greatly appreciated. ############################################################################################################# HOMING Pick your probe and endstops ############################################################################################################# BL Touch #[include RatOS/z-probe/bltouch.cfg] Inductive/Capacitive probe [include RatOS/z-probe/superpinda.cfg] Inductive probe configuration [probe] z_offset: 0.0 # Adjust this to fit your setup pin: ^probe_pin # For NPN NC probes such as the Super Pinda / Vinda / SupCR / Decoprobe probes. #pin: ^!probe_pin # NPN NO (refer to the specs on your probe) #pin: probe_pin # PNP NO (refer to the specs on your probe) #pin: !probe_pin # PNP NC (refer to the specs on your probe)

Tag part number indicates that it is indeed a 5v sensor

Figured it out needed to use the following pin name
^ind_probe_pin
Hi Anon13, I have the same issue, but don't understand your solution. Could you probably explain? When I checked the pin configuration in your and my boards configuration, there is no such pin "înd_probe_pin" specified.
Any help would be appreciated.
The wiring diagram was wrong, hopefully you followed the updated one
This should work with no changes.
the "ind_probe_pin" is not an official RatOS pin name and by mistake made it through the PR review, was corrected some months ago.
Hi miklschmidt, thanks for your response. I have a Octopus Pro board (F446) and wirded the probe according to the Dozuki installation guide. When I compare the colors of the wires (in your image), the probe was connected correctly.
Do you have any other recommendation?
Or would it be better to install the probe on an endstop port?
Which probe are you using?
I use the SuperPinda, bought from Ratrig:

If you're still having problems please start your own thread - you're not using the same board.
Include your printer.cfg and a picture of your probe wiring.
