Honestly quite stumped here
Have you tried it with punycode? domain.xn--q9jyb4c
Yes, both
It doesn't even recognize if I use the hiragana
so I have to use the punycode

As of writing, 10 days later.
The issue is still there
Same message and everything
I've tried removing all DNS records and everything to no help

Hello, this is Venkat from Cloudflare Support. I understand that you are seeing issues with custom domain when setting with punycode.
This might require deeper review. Please can you open a support ticket and share with us the ticket number, and we will continue to investigate further.
Hello, I can't make a request, since my account is free.
Hey @h4rl sorry about this, I'm going to look into it for you. One moment please
@h4rl can you try adding the custom domain again? You will need to use the punycode still, but it may work now
Thank you so much
It works now
This is funny
I stumbled upon the exact same issue, again
Was it a different project?
Yes, sorry for not answering 'til now, will give the new credentials

The rest should be the same
Just bumping to make sure you see this :)
I've applied the fix to this project as well, let me know if it works.
I will need to check with the team on the state of rolling the permanent fix out to everyone, but I'm out of office next week so it might take a bit
