commute and wrinkles

Hey all, I generally wear Spiers Mackay wool slacks and occasionally khakis from Dockers or Joseph a Banks. My commute is 45 minutes by car. I really am starting to hate how wrinkled I am ( especially my pants) by the time I get to work. Does anyone have any solutions?

My spier and Mackay chinos wrinkle SO much while sitting at work. I think it’s because they use light weight materials? Idk also interested in others’ thoughts.

Yes, usually lightweight trousers wrinkle more easily than heavy twill trousers. If you don't like your Dockers Khaki perhaps switch to Dickies 874, I find that they are very wrinkle-resistant and keep the shape really well.

I don’t think there’s anything you can do (except take public transit b/c you can stand the whole way) to prevent wrinkle-prone pants from wrinkling during a long car commute. You could either wear other pants and change or buy pants that wrinkle less

Thanks all. I'll try dickies. My wool trousers from SM also wrinkle quite a bit.

Spier has a few different chino fabrics they use. One of the newer ones is very crunchy so it's going to crease quite a bit. There isn't really much to do besides buy different pants in a different fabric that doesn't wrinkle too much and go with a looser fit. Slim stuff is giong to wrinkle more and in a worse way imo

One of their chino fabrics from a few years ago is soft and hefty, almost like lightweight flannel. Haven't had any issues with wrinkling in those
