Dickies Sizing
Do most people take true waist size for the 874 pants? What about the painters pants?

I'm curious what others say. I usually size one up from my actual waist measurement
The quality control of dickies isn’t the best so my true waist is 38 and out of the 4 pairs I got 2 are dead on and 2 are pretty tight

Ok thanks. My waist is about 37 which isn’t offered so 38 is probably the option for me
i normally wear a 28 in Levi’s and carhartt but my Dickies are 30
I usually wear a 33 and in two days I will get my first pair of 874s, size 34, in the mail. Let's see what happens. Fingers crossed!
For Dickies I take my true waist as in, actual measured waist at my natural waist. They basically don't do vanity sizing, so yeah like others I'm a 28 in a lot of brands but a 30 for Dickies
yeah they also have no give whatsoever so i think sizing up is a safer bet
So I just got my 874 and they fit just how I wanted them to, one size down and they would be too tight, one size up and they would be too loose. And I love the silhouette!
