Looking for Chore Jacket
https://lcking.com/collections/mens-coats-jackets/products/special-make-olive-duck-chore-coat?variant=44119484563709 - anyone know where I can find something like this in a similar style?
I could only find this as an alternative: https://www.garmentory.com/sale/tony-shirtmakers/menswear-jackets/1359199-black-10-oz-duck-barn-jacket but it's pricy

Tony Shirtmakers 10 Oz. Duck Barn Jacket - Black on Garmentory
This was a custom piece we made for Jesse, who wanted a versatile and neutral version of the Color Block Barn Jacket. We love the color combination so much we want to offer it made to order. We have enough fabric left for a few more cuts. Made with a black duck base, this barn jacket features a combination of functional pockets to fit your cards...

You could ask them if/when it will be back in stock
Vetra. https://www.vetra.fr/en/

The official VETRA webshop, the genuine 100% made in France French workwear. High quality products, a historical brand that manufactures in its own workshop since 1927.
@yeetios do you just want a similarly cut jacket, or do you want a color blocked design (i.e., contrasting pocket)? Vetra is a phenomenal brand but won't get you that sort of design.
Yeah I did :/ turns out they don’t have a time frame
Yeah I’m looking for that contrasting pocket
That's going to be a lot harder to find—for whatever reason, it's almost always lower-quality brands that will have that style (probably because it's not as timeless as most workwear is). This is a shirt but hits a similar vibe (the brand has other colors as well): https://www.blacksmith-store.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/blacksmith-patchwork-corduroy-shirt-natural
Railcar might be able to commission one for you: https://railcarfinegoods.com/
But your best bet might just be to look the the L.C. King jacket secondhand

Woah thanks for this info
I didn't know there were even companies that could comission the custom pocket
Yeah there aren't a lot and they're all pretty expensive (but amazing quality)
If you're a DIY person, you can always sew a pocket on yourself
Ah I couldn’t, I probably won’t ever get that into fashion lol
You absolutely could, it's easier than it seams
But also, I get it
You’re right in that seems like the lower quality brands are the ones with different colors. It’s a bummer because I feel like that jacket I put in the above link is a vibe
It is a lot better than the other color blocked options I've seen
Service Works London
Classic Coverall Jacket - Midnight
Bakers Chore Jacket by Service Works Regular Fit GOTS Organic 11oz Cotton 3 pocket construction 5 button closure Embroidered label
comes in olive + black too
But in general workwear has always been either one solid color or a subtler pattern
Ooh forgot to rec Service Works, excellent shout @J
Blacksmith carries them and has slightly better shipping FYI
thanks, can’t speak to the quality as i don’t own anything from them (yet) but i plan on getting a work jacket at some point
This is okay, I’m not a fan of the service works large logo
I have a pair of the trade chef pants and really enjoy them, quality is fantastic for the price point
@yeetios yeah that's misleading, it's just a paper label that slips off
the photos don't make that clear at all
Ah I see
Even then, what are your thoughts on how black pockets fit in with the solid blue / olive?
I feel like the colors don't mesh well and idk why
to me, these colors look like they just fit with one another
olive and black is def the better combo, I think blue and black is weird because of the tones (and because it's a jacket and not a Backstreet Boys album cover)
