I can't add my OVH Rust server
Hello, I cannot add my server. Even though I opened all ports through the game firewall, the problem is not solved. Can you help me? @Imthatguyhere

RCON Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble connecting to your RCON server using BattleMetrics, please take the following troubleshooting steps to identify and fix the issue: Gen
I read here, I applied it, I have the same problem whether I turn off or turn on the game firewall and normal firewall.
I read the forum of your member who had a similar problem and applied them too, but I cannot find a solution.
I cannot add it to steam servers and it does not appear in the rust list, but I can connect to the server.
Did you make changes to your OS-level firewall yet?
query traffic relies on UDP btw so make sure you're using the right protocol for the rule

I think that rule is backwards. The source IP should not be your server's IP
it should be the incoming IP
but I don't think you even need rules in that section unless you're whitelisting us
so I don't need this rule, right?
Don't think so
so do you have any ideas about what I should do? My server does not appear anywhere, neither on Steam nor on the Rust server list. It is strange...
I asked about your OS-level firewall. Have you done anything to that yet?
no i didn't do anything
im using pterodactyl panel
Do you have access to the operating system firewall?
if yes, get working on that
yea i have access
what exactly should I do through the firewall
Set rules that allow UDP traffic to reach your query ports
you can google how to configure your particular OS's firewall
ok i will look into this
thanks 🙂

added and still same :/
the only other thing I can suggest is to manually whitelist our IPs in the OVH firewall.
