Having problems with glowing ores on iris

I'm using a modified version of seus PTGI hrr3 that makes ores glow with a provided modded shader file and texture pack. Texture and shader here: https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture-pack/glowing-ore-seus-ptgi-hrr3/ It works on optifine as shown in the working image, but on iris the blocks just look like they are all glowing. The same effect displayed on the iris image can be displayed on optifine if the texture provided with the mod isn't active. I tried: using continuity (gives a resource reload error when the texture pack is loaded) using the fabulously optimized modpack using the original seus hrr3 shader file with the textures active Is there any way to make this work or a reason it doesn't work? I'm willing to modify the texture pack if needed, but I have no clue what to do.

Got the texture pack working on continuity, but instead of the ore glowing it is reflective. WITH the unmodded hrr3 turned on. with the modded one they are still fully glowing like the iris image i previously posted

realized its the same for the fabulously optimized modpack the modded simply hrr3 adds glow to ores, as it does to redstone blocks and lapis blocks. But in iris that glow also applies to the ctm overlay that is supposed to be dark, even with continuity, on optifine the glow isnt applied to that overlay. Is there any way to correct that?
