Business Casual Derbies

Leaning towards grabbing a pair of the AE Windsor plain toe derbies in brown for biz casual to go with wool trousers and a sport coat. Thoughts? https://www.allenedmonds.com/product/mens-windsor-plain-toe-derby-3028426

I feel like bluchers are a bit dressier than derbies, as contrary as that might be. The existence of quarters on derbies makes them seem more military to my eye, and better with chunkier soles. (I also prefer bluchers)

I also share a preference for the clean lines of a blucher. Interestingly, Allen Edmonds also has this, which they refer to as a derby even though it's a blucher. (Ordered a pair the other day so fingers crossed on QC) https://www.allenedmonds.com/product/mens-drake-derby-dress-shoe-3029168/black-ec4500772

Terms are often used interchangeably, no surprise there
