Can you dressing down a striped suit?
There's a Ted Baker suit on Postmark that i've been looking at. It seem to be a black suit with blue and lavender pine stripes. Is there a recommendation on how to dressing those type of suit down? I've seen most dressed down suit having either solid color or textures instead of stripes

Heres the suit
Yeah that one's going to be hard to dress down. If you want one to dress down I'd suggest something else.
It's also sortve pricey for a used ted baker suit right?
I think some of them were made by Jack victor in Canada tho I think that's still pricey
Also keep in mind that it says slim fit in case you don't like that
Not that suit
Brits will sometimes wear suits like that "broken" apart, ie, as odd jacket and trousers. You can look to that for inspiration. On this side of the pond that's a difficult look to pull off. I am sure ralph lauren has some pictures doing so but certainly some of his experiments are... not successful either
You could maybe wear a turtleneck with it, but that’s about as casual as it can go.
Alright, ty for yall input
