what shaders are you running?
That is expected. You are running one of the most demanding shaders on an extremely high render distance on greater than 1080p
ah i see
In fact I’d say that fps is quite impressive
yeah switching to 1080p should make your fps a lot better
or using less demanding shaders
Or lowering render distance :p
how do i switch to 1080p
prob a better idea actually
oh ok
my current distance is 21
If you still want to use a lower resolution get the resolution control+ mod
And in-game set the render quality to 0.75x
or change in system display settings
i changed to 1080 p and im getting 52 fps now
wheres that?
Resolution control+ config
oh
how do i get the mod
Modrinth
2.0.1 - ResolutionControl+
Download ResolutionControl+ 2.0.1 on Modrinth. Supports 1.16.5 Fabric. Published on Feb 16, 2021. 1622 downloads.
I didn’t mean to link a specific version
do i just put it in my mod folder?
Yep. Go to versions, find the one for your Minecraft version, and download it and put it in mods
k
k now i gotta learn how to use this thing
how do i use it
nvm i got it
ima have to get that just for the screenshots
???

tbh i would be expecting at least like 60fps there
allocating 4gb ram instead could theoretically help?
or like 8gb if you have it
Not really, bcuz then u might get slightly bigger microstutters from java's trash collector
true
It fixed itself and I’m getting around 70 now
