Trying to use Iris on Curse forge 1.20.1
Whenever I try to use Iris on my mod list in curse forge it says that this version is incompatable with profile modloader (fabric). When I launch Minecraft and hit play it starts to launch and then closes with no exit code. Can I please have some help?

I do have other mods
Try disabling them, leaving only sodium and Iris

You still have a lot of mods loaded and iirc supplementaries is incompatible
on my curse forge profile all other mods are inactive, is supplamentaries the only one?
According to the log you have many mods enabled :foxthink:
And yeah also according to the log supplementaries caused the crash
they all have the not active Icon
i will try to delete supplamentaries
What do all the mods look like in the actual mods folder?
when i try to delete supplementaries it says that it is open in OpenJDK platform binary
Looks like they aren’t disabled. Try closing curseforge when deleting supplementaries

Usually that means Minecraft is running
how do I close minecraft, inn my toolbar there is no minecraft icon
Look in task manager. Maybe Java is listed in your running programs?
it is deleted
it is working but is much laggier than when I have used Iris and sodium in the past

It wasn't laggy yesterday with other mods and Iris on 1.20.2
Go to the performance tab in task manager and send a screenshot
It will list your hardware
Hm click on GPU 0
Try turning off vsync in video settings. It often lowers frame rate
my FPS increases every so often but it still is on average 3 or 4

I’ve not once seen Direct3D shown in the F3 menu
does it mean it doesnt have nough GPU allocated to it?
or is there another mod conflict?

it appears when there is a directx 12 driver but not a opengl driver
