Unpaid Invoices
I haven't touched my railway account since September this year. When I open my railway account today, I have a 4 "unpaid invoice", from August up to this Month.
I already have paid the month of August just today thinking the rest would just vanished since I didn't have any usages from September to this day. However it seems that I have to pay the other 3, since I still haven't got my free $5 of usage monthly.
Do I really have to pay the rest of the Invoice? or This is just error?
Here are the following invoice:
June to July: vCPU - $0.06, Memory - $3.33, Hobby plan - $5.00 (Subtotal: $8.39, Hobby plan included usage ($5.00 off) - $3.39) Total Due: $5.00
July to August: vCPU - $0.02, Memory -$1.25, Hobby plan - $5.00 (Subtotal: $6.27, Hobby plan included usage ($5.00 off) - $1.27) Total Due: $5.00
September to October: vCPU -none, Memory - none, Hobby plan - $5.00 (Subtotal: $6.27, Hobby plan included usage ($5.00 off) - $0.00) Total Due: $5.00
October to November: vCPU -none, Memory - none, Hobby plan - $5.00 (Subtotal: $6.27, Hobby plan included usage ($5.00 off) - $0.00) Total Due: $5.00

yes you would be required to pay those invoices
Well that seems unfortunate, Do I really wont get the "free $5 credits" in each paid invoice? I have paid the June-July and haven't got the free $5. My total usage in these "unpaid invoices" is below $5. Paying 20$ for just $5 of usage seems unfair?
The hobby plan itself costs 5 dollars ( but it includes 5 dollars of usage )
the 5$ in credits can only be used towards resource usage, not towards the subscription cost
I'm really sorry for being so dumb T-T, but wasn't it paying the June to July Invoice includes the "Hobby Plan". So technically I should have the $5 credits?
Yea, I think it started costing 5 dollars a month in August
they sent out emails and let you know on the dashboard about it though
I mean, that's totally on me for not checking my emails. But paying for these invoices and not getting the free $5 credits seems unfair.
Oww nvm, I just get how it works. But should I just have only 1 unpaid invoice? They just should have cut the hobby plan, if I still have unpaid invoice, right?
Good point, I have no idea
So technically, it's their mistake, right?
I don't think so
Like I said, I stopped using railway maybe in the month of August. And I have no idea of these unpaid invoices until now. Paying for the 3 remaining unused plan seems unfair. They should have stopped the plan if the user still hasn't pay in the previous plan.
Is there a way to contact their customer support?
