installer stuck
Should my installer be stuck in this screen? Trying to do a fresh install but can’t boot into the installer. I’ve used this usb successfully on another machine. This machine just had a bios update
It’s been on this screen for over 5 mins. Will restart and post a video

When it tries to run the pre installation script this happens
In cases like this we recommend people install stock Silverblue/Kinoite and rebase
Got it. I’m trying to boot into slax first to make sure it’s not a bios issue. Once I can do that, I will try to install stock silverblue where can I get it from and how would I rebase?
Fedora Silverblue
An immutable variant looks, feels, and behaves just like a regular desktop operating system, but your updates are delivered as full images of a working system. Thanks!
So I got silverblue installed and running
My attempt to rebase resulted in this error
Where'd you get that command?
Readme I linked you to doesn't rebase to signed images
Oh unm I followed this:
If you're on an existing Universal Blue image follow these instructions. To rebase an existing upstream Fedora Silverblue/Kinoite ostree system to this image:
Which takes me to another page
Am I not already on an existing universal blue image?
You're not, you're on stock fedora
Just use the ones below directly on github
They're under each image
rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-nvidia:latest
So this one?
Yeah, that's KDE though
Your earlier one was GNOME
Which one is the preferred one?
I think I did kde on my other build
So I’m fine with that
So I rebased and did the reboot. When trying to boot back into the install I’m back at this
Disable secure boot if you're using it
Secure boot was disabled
Is there a reason why there are so many boot options?
Ok, restarted it again. ostree:0 let me get in
I’m in!
you need to rebase to the unsigned image first
got it working! Thanks for the help all!
