How to buy clothes
What clothes look good on me change with age and body shape, so I think it's cost-effective to buy fast fashion clothes in silhouettes that suit me and repurchase them when I can no longer wear them, what do you think?

would probably fall apart before you get to age tbh
you'll spend more money replacing broken clothes than you would of you were to buy smth of good quality that'd last a while
if you can afford that upfront cost
Invest in an encouragement to retain your youth.
The fast fashion clothes are all going to have the silhouette of a poncho after some washing
You won’t be able to re-buy fast fashion stuff later
Are fast fashion items really that bad?
No matter how hard I try, I don't think I'll have the same body shape in 5 years as I do now. I also think my face will look older.
I mean fast fashion brand items.
Why does this matter
You’re not supposed to be buying clothes for five years from now
Buy young blood and inject yourself
Be a vampire
If you want to buy fast fashion because you like the stuff fine, whatever. But don’t buy cheap, poorly and unethically made clothes because you’re worried about what you’re going to look like in five years
buy a few pairs of raw denim in loose fit
maintain your body exercising and stuff, now u always look good and cost effective
Preach
I still wear stuff I bought a decade ago. I’ve only gotten skinnier and taken care of my skin better.
Why do you think this? If you look after yourself you aren't going to see that radical of a change in that space of time
*with the exception of medical conditions
I think there was a character like that in a manga named Kingdom.
I'm so confident I'm going to slack on staying in shape, but you guys are amazing... I will learn from you.
Surely you're right...
I think what I really meant to put across is that for myself, when I buy new clothes I don't think about whether they will fit me in five years or so. If I buy clothing now that has plenty of room for my body to move then I am confident it will last well for small fluctuations in my body
On the flip side I have definitely purchased clothes that are on the borderline of being smaller than ideal that would not allow for much fluctuation. Its a learning process I feel
Not a fan of the “maintain your body” rhetoric.
Exactly the reason I clarified (or tried to) my point. Didn't want it to come across as body shaming
I’d rather buy clothes that have resale value if they no longer fit my body or my style than clothes that will go to a landfill. And as much as possible I try to buy secondhand in the first place.
