The Forest. Deticated Server.
Hi!
Me and my friends are trying to play in a deticated server but its show up what only i can see the server. The another issue is it doesnt spaw anything inside expect of animalls.
If anyone can help i will aprieciate it!!

@Enea Did you port forward?
Yes port are active correctly(no error in logs), server runs. Just this 2 thing is going wrong. no enemies spaw and they cant see it.
The server could be set to peaceful which is why no enemies are spawning, also them not being able to see it shouldn't be an issue as long as they can connect through steam or 2 use the direct connect options
is this hosted at home or thru a host/
i try to hostest from my pc.
so home. i dont have technical support. 🤣
and you opened all ports?
yes 3 off them. all what is need it the server runs all logs are okay except of the spawn enemies. I dont know if my friend have a issue and cant see it.
give your friend the gameport and the ip address to the server
and see if they can direct connect
the enemies issue, check configs and see what difficulty it's on

any luck? @Enea II'm looking to learn to host one too, I host a Valheim server so I know some basics...just got the game myself...
Didnt try again as most of them got offline. But i can recomend a video for this. I cant promise resaults but it looks is working some how.

Did you put it in WAN? is the same ports for WAN
port from the server to the routers ip goes thru the router to external IP and to the net is how i have the firewall set, router is servers gateway and the modem is the routers gateway
