Multiple RTMP Output
Epos did a video last week on how to use the multiple rtmp output plugin, but he did use an older version of it. with the newer version you can select the hevc encoder. my question is how to use this with youtube since i cant authenticate through the plugin to youtube HLS

the url itself contains the streamkey but it doesnt matter if i leave the streamkey field empty or not
did someone figured this out?
i also tried the "use authentication" option with my google credentials but this didnt work either
Have both there. You can try without the stream key, but you should have both. Also, don't think the RTMP pluggin will work with YouTube over the HLS protocol since that is technically not RTMP. You will have to set YouTube as your OBS settings stream output, and have your other destinations in the pluggin settings if you are trying to stream with the HLS protocol to YouTube
hmm i have a yt hls profile with rtmp twitch set up but for some reason discord wont receive audio when i stream obs on the yt profile...
+ is there a way to use addons like 7tv and frankerfacez when i setup twitch chat as a custom browser dock?
First problem I don't think I have an answer to. Second one, I believe there are websites you can have custom chat like that but I don't remember off the top of my head
You don’t need HLS. YouTube supports hevc and av1 over RTMPS now. There’s no reason to use HLS other than for HDR, which you’re not doing while multistreaming anyway
I was having issues trying to figure out if HEVC was supported over RTMP. Danke
