Yeah cutaways work. You may need to tie a bigger type of knot to fill in the collar but really up to you

great, thank you! may actually be helpful considering i've had issues in the past with tie knots being too big for my collar

Cutaways are terrible imo

why? this was a secondhand purchase so it's no disaster if it doesn't work

They're fine. They had a big phase during #menswear. I actually have a cutaway Kamakura and I still wear it from time to time

Ugh you live you learn, it wasn't even on my mind that a dress shirt collar could be out of the norm

I’m not the biggest fan of cutaway collars but they can work Not the end of the world

Thank you! Yah I can wear it for the time being as a dress shirt and later on either consign/donate it or find a use for it in casualware. I will pull my non iron (dislike that fabric) dress shirts with spread collars back out of the donation bag I put together today tho lol

Every time I see a cutaway I think of people failing to wear it well, but certainly it can be worn well

This is not a particularly aggressive cutaway and I think it'll look fine. Def looks good with a big tie knot.

I’ve basically never seen one worn well. They demand a tie and the don’t look good with one generally. Just wear an OCBD instead
