Yankee Candle - dress up as your favorite candle and take a picture with it Crossover - combine two different styles you like Monochrome - wear one color Rainbow - every piece is a different color

I'd thought of monochrome too. "We have X at home" - replicate a brand styling without an item from that brand

I think we have x at home is great We should bring back the idea @artvandelayimporting had for dress like seinfeld Would be pretty easy to apply to lots of media like dress like twin peaks or wes anderson or what have ya

“Forbidden fruit” - Break a “style rule” , other users can guess which rule you broke. “Four quadrants of MFAD” - Based on the fit battle venn diagrams. This can be a single theme where people are encouraged to pick a style they don’t normally dress in or four themes where everyone tries a certain style (less fun for the posters that dress like that anyway but easier to participate maybe because it’s less broad) “Copy this fit in your own way” - Inspired by llbeansandrice’s examples of how he tried to copy a fit in several different ways in general yesterday. Similar to “X at home” but I think it could be cool to see what different people take away from the same fit All of the ideas above are cool too! They immediately triggered ideas for me. Although the candle one would be hard because I don’t have a favorite candle

First day of school / how you used to dress throw back Various tonals — pastel, greyscale, etc Oddly specific scenarios like 3am grocery runs while it's drizzling

Off label usage: wearing a garment (or anything really) in a way that it isn’t intended be it inside out, backwards, layered non conventionally, or affixed in place by alternative means Brick a fit: recreate a previous “successful” old look but change something to make it more adventurous and a challenge to one’s better judgement. The kind of choice that you would normally cower from.

"Belt" - point of fashion: belt. Wear as many belts as possible. Wear one belt in an unusual way. Just wear your favourite belt but find a way to make it the highlight of your fit somehow. Don't have a belt? Fashion one or many out of household objects. Find a way to make your lack of a belt look like a belt.

I feel like probably someone has already suggested something like a book theme. I think that could be fun. Pick a book and do an inspired fit; many interpretations. Though maybe too many if the fun of a theme is seeing how many people approach one thing... Contrast: color, cut, fabric, formality. Wear a fit that has an internal sense of contrast in one or more of the mentioned elements.

something that could be interesting, but would take a bit of effort and setup... is a "Twins" theme. people randomly matched up, and coordinate "matching" or complimentary outfits
