Plaid Flannel Shirt brands in Germany/EU
I'm looking for some nice patterned flannel shirts. Not sure how much I should spend to get something decent as I don't know if this is an item where you have to spend a lot or little to get something decent. Very interested in hearing about some brands you recommend to look for also open to looking vintage

Portuguese Flannel would be the first that springs to mind!
Portuguese Flannel
Portuguese Flannel inspiration comes from genuine people from both the coast and mountains, with a brave and challenging way of living...
Seconding portuguese flannel. They have a bunch of retailers (there's a list on the site) and usually go on decent sales!
You can also regularly find a wide variety of Pendleton shirts on ebay, etsy etc
I have found Etsy is usually a little more expensive than ebay, however they are being sold by vintage storefronts on etsy that will have better measurements and aren't selling a size large that has been shrunk to a medium by a previous owner
This seller for example has a lot of Pendleton shirts

for cotton, Portuguese Flannel would probably be a good call
for wool, I really like this one: https://www.varusteleka.com/en/product/sarma-wool-flannel-shirt/59679
Varusteleka.com
Särmä Wool Flannel Shirt
Thick long-sleeve wool flannel shirt for work, hiking, hunting, camping, fishing, and other casual indoor and outdoor use. International delivery.
unbeatable price for a shirt made in Europe even at the regular price and the current sale makes it even cheaper
they've also got a promo with free shipping to Germany until the 5th
Sorry but having this advertising copy:
"In the rugged old days, thick wool flannel shirts were a pretty basic thing, because everything was made of wool anyway – what luxury! Now in the plastic future, these are rather hard to come by. We did our part and patched up some of this gaping hole with the Särmä Wool Flannel Shirt."followed by this:
"35% polyester, and 5% polyamide"is very funny
yeah, that is a bit silly
it's a good shirt tho ^^
I'm sure they are, just made me laugh a bit
thanks for all the reply I will have a look:)
I haven’t looked at the current offerings but I’m pretty sure the PF flannels were still very slim last year. They do use quality materials though.
Fjällraven shirts are also nice
