how can I export my Postgres db
If I want to export my railway database does railway provide a way to do that or will I have to use other methods

there's no native export feature, you would want to use pg_dump, or some software that provides this functionality, or if you are just looking for a backup solution the templates marketplace has lots of templates that backup your database on a schedule https://railway.app/templates
