How to style this suit?

From https://suitsupply.com/en-us/men/suits/mid-blue-havana-suit/P6710.html Bought this week a bday present for myself and curious how you guys would style this. It's a bit on the adventurous side for me and not sure how to best pull it off. This is for a casual environment, I WFH and so only wear suits when I go out with friends or my wife to a nice dinner or some other nicer event The model is wearing light grey sneakers and a light grey sweater. I know you guys scoff hard on wearing sneakers with a suit, I was thinking of getting light grey suede loafers, but I am not sure where to find a pair that's affordable (pref under 300$ but open if it's really nice). Spent awhile searching today. I am also not sure what shirt (or sweater?) to wear. I'm open to buying something at Proper Cloth custom for this. Appreciate any advice

Loafers in any colour, maybe not black. I'd be tempted to try a Breton stripe under it. Or a linen band collar shirt.

nice thanks. Linen shirt with the cord suit in winter? Just curious about that, I am still learning, I thought generally the goal is to match the material with the season? Band collar because the lapel on the jacket is so strong it looks better with a shirt without a standard collar?

I'm short and round, so horizontal stripes are generally a no-go for me . What about a grey denim with a band collar? https://propercloth.com/dress-shirts/albiate-washed-grey-denim-517574.html

Irish Linen can be quite heavy and warm over the light breezy linen you're used to. Band collar for slightly unusual and casual vibes that fit with a cord DB to me. But I think if I was going Denim I'd get a "normal" collar.

I have a heavy linen version of this that's similar to what I had in mind: https://www.sehkelly.com/shop/shirts/granddad-shirt/shirt-with-granddad-collar-in-cotton-calico/

Grey turtleneck, dark brown loafers.

I like the idea of turtleneck, would it be better w a plain one or something more patterned would work too?

I’d go plain, so as not to get in the way of the texture of the cords.
