When you get dressed, what do you want to communicate to the world through your clothing? How do you think people perceive you based on what you wear?

i want the world to know that i look short and homeless and too baggy and that i look like a kid playing dressup and that my clothes are not flattering to my physique thank you
I think that my choices either reflect my ideals in terms of how I want to situate myself within the world (often very comfortable through soft and plush textures, or easy and breathable fabrics, open and approachable through a consistent use of notable colour schemes in my fits, and specific garments that suggest what archetype of person I am based on my association with them).
In addition, I directly try to avoid colours or types of garments that I believe suggest something that isn't true for me. As a result, I don't wear black much at all because of its suggestions regarding taste, subtlety, or darkness, nor do I look for varsity jackets because it suggests an involvement in sports that I never intimately had in my life.
That I'm cool
That I am afraid of color
that I'm cool (wide)
I’m very susceptible to trends

Essentially this. I dress to make my fiance smile.
i think i dress fairly generic but enough that people could tell i put some kind of thought into whatever i want to wear, but in the future i want to actually have my own flair and give off a cozy vibe
i tend to dress in greyscale and moving away from that bit by bit has been a whole marathon
I want to give off ‘don’t talk to me’ energy
but in reality please do talk to me 👉👈
yeehaw
I want everybody to know i own a motorcycle and like guns but in a super queer and loving way that would give your conservative uncle a conniption at thanksgiving dinner
My whole blog is about this phenomenon, but I think it should hopefully show some slouch and ease DESPITE the “formal” perceptions. I think it shouldn’t be surprising that I’m a bit silly or that I like Star Wars or something.
I don’t think anyone thinks I’m a corporate guy or a lawyer LOL
I think a lot of my style reflects my personality, my context, and what I like
