GDPR and railway.app EU servers
I found this database where you can find companies that are officially registered as DPA which is a new "GDPR legal framework" agreement between EU and USA.
https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/participant-search
(article about new agreement: https://ec.europa.eu/commission/presscorner/detail/en/qanda_23_3752)
For example Cloudflare is covered under this law and i guess we can use both their US and EU servers to store PII data?
But i'm wondering ....even if railway is not officially registered yet as a DPA company can we still use the EU servers of railway?
So that the data from my database service basically never reaches the USA? Is this sufficient for GDPR?

I believe hosting on Railway’s EU services is enough. However, regions are locked behind pro plan atm so you’ll have to upgrade
Thank you!
I was planning on taking the pro plan soon for this reason, but wanted to confirm before subscribing
Hello, same issue here, what I'm trying is to upgrade, changing servers region and going back to hobby plan... let's try. see you in a month
moving a project back to the hobby plan will redeploy the services in the us-west1 region on the next deployment
So if we are European users we must move/stay to Pro plan... :/
