talk to me about milsurp liners
Thinking about picking one up as a cold weather layer—how are y'all styling these? Do you prefer the buttoned or buttonless varieties? Vertical or horizontal patterns? I want to learn the ways of the liner

I would be very careful about getting an actual milsurp one because the armpits are usually, if not always, open for ventilation

I've worn them as actual liners...
And yeah that's probably true about vents. If not at the armpits, they will be under them like the German parka liners (which otherwise have got one neat design with a big pocket and big collar). Dunno if it'd be a good idea to see them up lol
