kind of a shitty photo from the seller but I've been wanting a herringbone sport coat and this one looks decent, 100% wool and doesn't look like an orphaned suit jacket I don't think. Just making sure.

If those are flap pockets with the flap tucked I think it's fine. Jetted pockets look weird tho

Idk why some people insist on tucking in the flap pocket flaps on casual jackets

If they are actually jetted, there's this one as an alternative? Ugly buttons but that shouldn't be too expensive to fix, right?
Italians often do patch or jetted, more rarely flap. Brits and americans like flap. I would generally not worry about it overmuch.

Anyways it's fine, if you like it, if the price is good, if it fits well. The buttoning point seems okay, the quarters seem quite closed, gorge seems fine.

Buttons are pretty standard for tweed jackets imo. Seconded that there’s tons and tons on eBay for cheap
Just make sure the chest/ shoulder/ sleeve measurements are appropriate for you. I’d ask for those if they weren’t already included
