Pro plan prepay

Is there a way to prepay for usage on the Pro plan, similar to the credits option (https://docs.railway.app/reference/pricing#credits) for the Hobby plan?

A client of mine (grant-funded) requires it

yes* - provided the committed spend is high enough how much are we talking here?

Not sure, but any information I can relay back to them, what are the threshold(s)?

$1,000 a month for a committed spend yearly invoice. The issue here is that manual invoicing takes time and our systems aren't really built for it unless the spend relationship is high enough. If it's a grant org. we can provide and forward invoices if that helps, else, they can use the Hobby plan + credits (Dw, you won't be chased down by me.)

Understood. Is this outlined in the docs somewhere? Am I understanding correctly that they would need to commit $1k monthly, or $12k upfront? Let me know how they would need to go about committing the spend

Got it, and would this just need to be negotiated over a support ticket, or is there a way to do it from the web UI?

Over a support ticket or my email: angelo@railway.app

I also followed you on Twitter if you need to do DM me. I wanna make this as smooth as possible, I know it's not the ideal- but usage based pricing's double edged sword rears it's head. This will help us standardize this experience within the product.

No prob, things get tricky when you need to fit red tape constraints haha. Totally makes sense. Appreciate your transparency
