Every system is different, so while we can't say exactly what will work best for you, here area few suggestions:
GPU
- For integrated and low end laptop GPU's
- Start with a DH render distance of about 64
- You may need to drop the vertical and horizontal quality settings
- For mid to low end desktop GPU's
- The default settings should be a good starting point
CPU
- Less than 4 Cores
- Disable the world generator
- Drop the thread config to 1 thread for each option
- DH render distance shouldn't affect CPU load
- 6-8 Cores
- The default settings should be a good starting point

yea but with my current settings (default) it looks bad
i have 300 chunks on
Looking bad in what way
the fog
so i wanted to know poples settingsa
as a fix
You can tweak or disable fog in the advanced settings
What about the fog looks bad
i can still see the edge of the chunks
Like this?
no like this
You can try making the fog more aggressive, I dont exactly remember what the setting was called I think it was just fog end or something
In the advanced graphics settings and then fog settings
cant have it higher than 1.414 @MarijnIsN00B
Set it lower
oooh
thank you
the description just didint make any sense
well @MarijnIsN00B it still looks like this
nvm
turn the fog density up
That will just make all the fog denser, the fog end setting will just make it denser at the edges of LODs
well i did not make it work yet any advice?
@MarijnIsN00B ?
Cant help rn, at work
You can try letting it generate a bit further
Or setting the near fog higher and the far fog lower
Iirc it should create a dense fog band right on the edges of the LODs
ok i will try
