I have 1.5k to overhaul my winter wardrobe

What pieces should I get? I want to invest in quality pieces that will last for years. I live in Philadelphia area. Looking for outerwear, sweaters, anything. I like ivy style things and also brands like reiss, theory, etc. goal is to maximize return on these items

My advice is to not do this. Buying slowly and intentionally is way better than blowing a bunch of money haphazardly. Is there anything that you actually need like you don’t have a functional winter coat? Tackle that maybe and then find inspiration for stuff you like and build your style Also check out #fashion-guides there’s a lot of info and good stuff there

Generally speaking, if we are talking most bang for your buck. Especially in winter, the best thing to invest in is good outerwear. Given your preferences, a good winter coat will go a long way. I would start researching that topic and see what you like.

I’d go stare at eBay once you figure your measurements. Can’t do better bang for buck than that. Really great new outerwear can hit that entire budget for one coat. Same one on eBay might be $200

I'd go to Junior's. But yeah don't expect to spend $1500 and get a new wardrobe.
