Published templates kickback $ question
Hi, I've had a published template on the railway website with about 30 users minimum for a while now, and on the templates page it says "You earn a 25% kickback on their usage."
However I've not earned any credits according to this page despite having 30 users paying a minimum of $5/mo to use this template
Am I wrong in assuming that I should receive credits for this? Or is it a bug?

@metal this has already been brought up to the team, in feedback and has been flagged to be worked on. Not sure when to expect a fix, but it is already in the pipeline
so you're saying it's a bug?
have they mentioned anything about retroactively awarding credits as well then?
im just here wondering why you thought you needed to blur the templates 🤨
Yes it is a bug, but no further info has been provided as of yet. You can follow the updates about it https://discord.com/channels/713503345364697088/1160015692804931654
Yeah, that is kinda odd, but I didn't wanna be the one to say anything about it! 🤣🤣
didnt think their content mattered for the purpose of this post and saw no reason to eliminate my privacy as a consequence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
eliminate my privacy as a consequence🤨🤨🤨
Their content doesn't really matter, but if they are published templates, anybody can see them by going to railway.app/templates
my github is apparently linked and visible to the templates, and linked to my github is my irl name and some other things which i consider to be "privacy", i didnt see a benefit in sharing those here, so i didnt.
i figured this was probably not a specific issue with those specific templates so it probably wouldnt have mattered
sure but i guess they're harder to find this way. anyway. irrelevant for the purpose of this post
thanks for the help though!
Fp said he will look into the template feedback today
yeah i saw the post, cool stuff
if the fix is retroactive it would be nice
considering i'm paying myself $12/mo to run this template i figure 25% of 30 users is probably atleast a discount to my monthly bill
The team is very community focused and they take feedback to heart. I know I've had my templates up and running since mid summer, so it's been a question I've posed a few times
