Rewaxing waxed suede/roughout
Does anyone have any guides or advice to rewaxing waxed suede? I have some waxed roughout grant stones that are entering their 3rd year of wear that could use some love

General advice is to use Venetian shoe balm, because it has a higher wax content than cream. Skidmores also has a high wax content, and is suggested by places like pigeon tree crafting for their DIY waxed boots. Either is a safe and decent option
Ok so it's basically like any other boot clean/brush with saddle soap if needed, put on VSC, brush then let VSC dry and see if you need another coat? Would you recommend using heat to get the wax to really soak in?
Sure, you can use a heat gun if you want. Enough brushing will have a similar effect, but the heat gun will definitely get it to soak in
There are also things like sno seal and dubbing wax that are around that can work. Not my preference to use them, but plenty of folks have
Cool thanks for all your help! I can't wait to give this a try!
