low fps while using iris
normaly i get about 300fps on Vanilla.
after trying the mod to use shader on minecraft 1.20.2 my fps gets super low.
even without any shader active

Try updating your graphics drivers
i updated them last week
and every other games runs with 200+ fps so that isn't the problem
I don’t know the details but nvidia did something weird that sometimes conflicts with sodium. In these situations updating the drivers can fix it. You are not on the latest.
i'll try it out i'll let you know if it changed anything
Make sure all the configs and such are the same between instances
what configs do you mean?
Settings
Things like vsync and fps cap
Also preformance related settings like render distance

Is Vsync on/off for both vanilla and sodium?
