PRL Andrew’s or Moleskin trousers for tweed sport coats
I’m looking for some more fall-ish trousers to wear with tweed jackets and winter wear, but don’t have much of anything up to snuff.
My worry is that PRL Andrew’s (pictured — sorry, indoor lighting is ass) would be a touch too blouse-y in any material, and especially too busy as cords w/ tweed.
Alternatively, I’m thinking of getting some moleskin trousers that are a warmer khaki tone to continue my usual ivy vibe into the winter.
Thoughts on which of the two trousers would work best with tweed coats?

Corduroy with tweed slays don’t worry about it
Moleskin is cool too though so I think either would work well with tweed
Good to hear! My main worry is the trouser width because I’m used to slimmer stuff — I feel like my legs are long enough though that the trousers aren’t too insanely wide so long as the jackets aren’t hella slim
I don’t think theyre too wide at all, and I also had the same feeling when I started wearing straighter fit pants after a decade of skinny/slim fit
PRL andrew pants are great! Personally, I like them with a cuff and no break.
Probably the way to go. I do think a cuff would keep the lines cleaner, so I’ll give that a shot - thanks!
Dang bro that shit fits perfectly
You could just flip the hem on that pair - probably not enough material for a proper cuff.
Oh yeah, def not a proper hem. I’d have to find like 36x37’s or something for that haha
that fit goes hard imo
The Andrews are perfect here! If anything the jacket feels a touch small proportionally than pants too big
As long as we’re in “a touch” small territory, then I think I’m cookin’ with gas. Slowly widening my usual silhouette, but couldn’t say no to the $10 bonobos blazer haha
Longer/fuller jacket would work well though, I agree
Pants look great in that fit
You could hem to a no break if you really want but I think the break looks good in the pic
adding to the choir but the pants look great here
and would work well with a tweed jacket
That’s fantastic, cuz I just got 2 more of the pants and just as many sport coats lol
