place phone in coffee mug set timer
It's that simple
alternatively you can get some really cheap bluetooth remote and tripod combos on amazon, bestbuy, ect
Though honestly I didn't really like the angle coffee mug chair gave
I use a countertop height rolling cart instead
Lol it’s a sticker
Made by the wonderful @/bishopcorrigan
i have a shelf that's up against the wall that comes up to waist height, and i can prop my phone up against the wall
There's a more extensive guide he posted to the substack as well
Will probs invest into one but would be a pain to carry around outside.
Any advice when I’m in a public place bedroom is a little boring tbh
Could just prop it up somewhere with good lighting
Confidence and a tripod
maybe a business that is empty and you can use their window sill
Damn where can I buy this confidence lol
idt anyone else taking solo photos outdoors isn't using a tripod
That’s a shout tbh
If its something you really wanna get into though you could get a tiny lil tripod for your bag
On here discord?
If I have my car with me, the door panel inside the car also makes a good holder
Yeah let me find it
Thx
If I'm home/think ahead I have a little remote camera button. If I'm out in the world I look around to make sure no one sees me and take a self timer pic
Do you rest your phone on something?
this is me using the back of my car next to my license plate
really just need someone to hold the phone for a second
But there are a ton of little tripod options
That’s pretty clever
Ah it's privated unforch
Ah fairs

It was a spotlight
Oh there was another one I was thinking of
But yeah that also works
got a link?
I set up a shortcut on my phone to take a pic every second for like 15 seconds. Makes taking pics much easier
ive been using lensbuddy someone recommended here, it does a bunch of pics based on the intervals/settings you set and you can thumbs up/down and then export the ones you dig
I got a tripod on Amazon and it came with a BT trigger. The shortcut idea is really nice tho
Here's a good guide https://collaro.co/fit-pictures-guide
