Do these dress pants fit me well?

I recently got some cotton dress pants to wear with a blazer. Since they are a higher rise, I thought I could wear them up to the navel to avoid the shirt triangle. However, it seems that even when I do wear it up to the navel, a bit of the shirt and belt are exposed between the two buttons. Worse, the pants look a bit too short for me. When I lower the rise, even more of the shirt and belt are exposed. The first two pictures are me wearing them at the navel, the third is a picture of how the hem looks when seated.

As far as i know you hem the trousers when standing. If you want the pants to cover more of your legs when seated you might want to go for a full break. There will be fabric settle at your ankle when you stand though

Hem the trousers standing, yes, but siting in them to see how it do first is good practice. No-break standing will lead to quite a bit of sock showing when you sit. The photos are a bit tough with poor lighting, angles, and holding the phone... best to do good light (usually natural light), not holding the phone. But anyways, the shirt triangle is a thing pretty much all the time with a more modern cut (open quarters) plus lower rise trousers. You'd need proper high rise and/or significantly more closed quarters, to avoid it. I think you can just not worry about it. If you want full break + high rise, the trousers need to allow for it. You generally want classic-to-full cut for full break otherwise the trousers tend to bunch. If you want less break or no break + high rise, those seem like they can work fine. It's a little hard to tell with the jacket over them and poor light how they sit ... plus judging good fit includes side and back views... So no real answers from me, need more to be able to tell
