How to get a log file:
Game logs can be found in the
logs sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by kristal8008
how will logs help
it contains most of the information required, like which mods are used, what shaderpack is used, if there are any errors with the rendering
I used sildurs vibrant shaders sodium nofog malilib mods and it works on some servers but not all
just send a log. There's nothing in the logs that we can use against you, if that's what you're worried about
Logs can contain error messages that can tell why it's happening for example
The only reason the logs are there to begin with is to tell you exactly what’s wrong, however since they’re intended for the devs to the average person it just looks like a bunch of random bullshit
