how to style easy trousers?

Curious how you can style these? The summery materials for EZ trousers seemed simpler to style because it was more casual material I feel like. I work from home so would just wear them going out for dinners and such, mostly just casual wear.

I'd go with a camp collar or a terry polo with more summery easy trousers, though those flannel ones might be a bit warm for that
Untucked OCBD or other "semi-dress" shirt to cover the waist, or use them as airplane pyjamas right into a business meeting ;)
I honestly don't think drawstring trousers in chino fabric / wool look good, if you're going out I think you're always going to be better off wearing trousers with a proper waistband.
Or if you want the functionality of a drawstring there are some where that is more hidden and a belt can be used
Thanks, sorry I didn't give better context. I already own summery ones and am comfortable styling them but now looking at these for colder weather and it just feels harder to pull off
Are these the equivalent of the Cool Haan dress shoes with a sneaker sole?
I personally think the summer material ones are awesome, I have tried buying something for cold weather like these yet
This is why I like the idea of "easy trousers". For someone like me that literally never has to work in a business setting, I otherwise don't have much occasion for trousers as I'll wear chinos mostly, sometimes jeans, and for more dressy outings I'll just wear a full suit
I guess I'm just looking for an excuse to wear trousers, specially more casual trousers
That's how I see them
I like the idea of easy trousers. Flannel wool easy trousers should be almost literally as comfortable as PJs, but cover up the waistband and you're dressed nicely enough. I don't think they're an abomination that makes no sense in between things... I just think I'd prefer an untucked (nice enough) shirt and you look no different than if you were wearing the same pants with a belt or side adjusters.
Yeah I don't think they are as bad as dress sneakers. I saw someone where the drawstring was more hidden which looked nicer though
I would much prefer a drawstring on the inside, and not having that sort of obvious puckering, yeah.
How do you feel about trousers where that puckering can be hidden with a belt
I've never seen that. The drawstring replaces the belt...?
No basically you have both a drawstring but the string is hidden. + there are belt loops to hide the ruffels
Weird. I am sure it'll work fine if someone designed it well
I've got some uniqlo pants like that, it's not very noticeable with a belt + tucked shirt on
I think SuitSupply might let you create custom trousers like that
thanks for your feedback on that, it's helpful. I guess you're saying is that these are nice if you're wearing the shirt untucked but might look weird tucked in
That seems like a valid use case
I wore the summer material ones a lot this summer and they were awesome
