Whenever i try to run Minecraft with Iris it just crashes. I'm not sure what to do. I've tried jarfix, and i've tried re-installing iris.

can you get a game log?
How to get a log file:
Game logs can be found in the
logs
sub-directory in .minecraft on clients, or the logs
sub-folder of the server directory for servers. We're probably interested in the file named latest.log
, which you can drag and drop into Discord.Tag requested by mithos23
did that work?
latest.log

can you update your graphics drivers? https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/81501/graphics/processor-graphics/intel-hd-graphics-family/intel-hd-graphics-2500.html
Intel
Support for Intel® HD Graphics 2500
Support product highlights, featured content, downloads and more for Intel® HD Graphics 2500
how do i do that?
On the website click drivers & software. Then download the top one. Then run. Then restart when prompted.
that did not do anything.
As in updating it didn't do anything or it wasn't able to update? Because in your logs i see OpenGL 3.2 support. And sodium, which iris requires, has a requirement of OpenGL 4.6: https://github.com/CaffeineMC/sodium-fabric#-hardware-compatibility
You are wrong because sodium didn't actually go ahead and require ogl 4.6 yet. They're trying to make it feature-complete first, by adding frapi and translucency sorting before dropping old ogl.
well that's what it officially supports
as per the link
Wasn’t able to update it
what did you see?
an error code
Oh okay. I'll use my powers of telepathy to figure out what error code that was
So that means that you don't have DCH drivers yet. DCH drivers are able to be updated independently of your OEM.
You'll first need to update your graphics driver from your OEM
