Highest Quality Suede/Rough Out Leather Trucker Jackets?

With fall finally upon us, I'm looking to bring some class to my look with a classic, brown suede, rough out, waxed flesh, etc. leather jacket. My biggest concern is quality. With most of these jackets being in the $1k range, I'd like it to be BIFL quality. I'm looking for something relatively slim. My wide shoulders often force me into large shirts and jackets when a medium would otherwise fit perfect in my other proportions. I live in Seattle, so the jacket will likely undergo relatively frequent exposure to light rain. I'd also prefer a rich, warm brown suede with button fasteners rather than a zipper. For all of these reasons, I leaned towards the Satchel & Page Montgomery jacket as it has a classic look, is slim fitting, and is waxed flesh (better in rain than traditional suede afaik) until I read some disparaging reviews on reddit regarding the quality of their bags. Below I've listed some of the jackets I've found, but I'm open to any others I may not have seen yet. What do you think is the highest quality suede trucker jacket on the market? Which is the best value (quality/price)? Thanks!

BIFL doesn’t really exist because most people’s taste changes over time and trends do too. Most of these are ugly imo. The Todd Snyder one is okay looking, the Tom Ford one is good looking. Check out Savas. https://www.ateliersavas.com/collections/mens

Anyway, to answer your question. - any jacket worth buying at your price range will outlive you, so BIFL won't be an issue. - likewise light rain won't be a big deal for suede, people beat the hell out of suede shoes and they still look great. - at your budget would definitely recommend secondhand, you can get some insane pieces for $1k. I'm highly skeptical about the longevity of any suede pieces since most use split suede. Unless a rough out or full reverse suede is used, the lack of grain leads to the looser corium fibers separating over time. With split suede being a technically inferior composition of leather, I'm shocked by the absurdly high prices of some of these jackets. Many are genuine leather or split suede which lacks that grain pattern. But of course, as with many pieces these days, you often pay for the innovation of the look over the technical quality or artisanship. Being conscious about the quality of leather makes the shopping process tougher. I'd like to purchase a jacket using full reverse suede. @raisin I'm very hesitant to use grailed at this price point. With so many of these jackets looking like blown out paper bags in person, it's hard to commit to a non-refundable purchase without the ability to first try on the garment. I've had far too many grailed blunders as it is. I'm looking at you, satin van Noten pants that make me look like a stuffed sausage. 😒 LOVE the Fortela, but not quite the style I'm going for. The YMC is sexy. @upsett1_spaghett1 🍝 BIFL quality in regards to overall craftsmanship and not using a split suede leather. I wasn't born yesterday. These Savas jackets are gorgeous. Unfortunately, the majority are about two thousand dollars out of my price range.

Welding jackets are made from split suede, I really don’t think you need to worry about durability here

Split suede lack of durability is a myth
