Ineffective mark-compacts near heap limit Allocation failed - JavaScript heap out of memory
I am seeing this attached error in the microservices log since upgrading to 1.80. I noticed this because the migration job failed when I tried to run it and I went looking.
And I see this
I am running truenas scale kubernetes. I also recently upgraded the truenas OS but I think this error was happening prior to that. At this point im not sure this is truenas or immich, but I found some similar issues in the truenas bug tracker that point to other apps with a similar error. Any idea where to start with this?

That first screenshot looks like it's running out of memory
ok 🙂 thats what I thought 8gb for the entire stack is not enough then... i will add some.
10gb still failed, 16gb seems to be working, although I still see some connection timeout errors the oom error is gone
thanks for confirming this, I had no idea so much memory was needed
migration job seems to be running now
I have seen this, too. The e2e tests always run into this
