Iris 1.6.9 - Crash while wearing custom modelled armor, and having outline

Hello! A combination of situations can cause randomly occuring crashes. The scenario: - A player is wearing an armor set with custom 3D model (implemented by AzureLib Armor) - Outline is drawn around the player (who is wearing the armor) - Use Shaders A real life example is the following: - Install Paladins & Priests mod (with dependencies) + Iris + Complementary Shaders - Switch to third person view - Pick a Holy Wand and to spam heal (self) The issue seems to occur consistently after pausing the game for like 3-5 minutes, (tabbing out) leaving it to render in the background, than returning the game and trying to self heal. Attached crashlog. Important note: No such issue occured in Iris 1.6.8

Hello @IMS , More and more users report this issue to me, while I was recommended to ask for help here. Could you please take a look?

I’ll take a look, but this looks like a state issue not completely Iris related

Thank you! Iris 1.6.8 didn't seem to produce this issue at all, but we are open minded! Hello! Sorry for bothering you, I am still getting many crash reports. Is there a way I can help to investigate this? Maybe do you need a minimum modpack export to reproduce the issue? Hello @IMS , I am sorry for bother you, but I really cannot find a solution to this issue. Could you let me know when could we take a look at?

I'm still looking at it, I have no clue what AzureLib is doing to cause that

Is there any way for me to provide additional information?

Yeah, that line it's calling hasn't been changed since it was still a Geckolib fork so not sure why it's an issue currently. Was anything related to shadows changed with 1.6.9? I know we had an issue with armor before related to the buffer being used. Was anything modified in 1.6.9 for that? Looks like 1.6.10 fixed this? Unable to reproduce it using it.

Unfortunately 1.6.10 still produces the issue 😦

There is just a fair amount of randomness in it. Looks like it happens after a certain amount of render time. This notorious crash is still happening. Upon further investigation I conclude that this is likely not a conflict between AzureLib Armor and Iris. When only these are installed and Paladins&Priests mod, the crash doesn't seem to happen. Running Paladins&Priests mod in the Fabulously Optimized modpack, does consistently crash. After doing some binary search, it turns out disabling ImmediatelyFast seems to solve the issue.
