brooks brothers non-iron ocbd?
Hey y’all, I’ve been looking to buy some OCBD’s online from Poshmark and Ebay, but most of the Brooks Brothers OCBD’s that I find are non-iron. Non-iron is pretty 🤢 in my experience, but I’m not sure if BB’s are different.
Does anyone have experience with these shirts in particular, or tips on how to find good used OCBD’s in general? Thxxx

your intuition is right, don't buy non iron ocbds
whats wrong with non iron shirts? Im wearing them to work and enjoying the non ironness
They feel plasticky and icky I guess
the texture of the cloth is important in an OCBD. non-iron treatment messes with the texture and drape. plus OCBD wrinkles are a feature not a bug
doesn't help that they feel bad on skin
Are you based in the US? If yes, then it shouldn't actually be all that difficult finding classic BB ocbds on ebay etc. I'm based in Europe and here it is actually much more difficult finding ones that are not non-iron.
^ Seconding the above- you can include ‘Makers’ or ‘USA’ in your search if looking for BB OCBDs, found mine on eBay that way
I am in America, and it is actually fairly easy to find OCBD’s in eBay, thankfully! Are they not as common in Europe?
ocbd's and button downs are common, but easily 90% are of the European type, meaning short collars and no collar roll. The UK is a fairly good place to get American trad type ocbds as BB used to have a store in London, + it has a couple of Ivy Style brands that are based in the UK (Drake's, John Simons, Anglo_italian).
Ahhh I see. Honestly most OCBD’s (at least from the big retailers) are pretty similar here in the US. Don’t know why those flat collars became so much more popular compared to rolly ones
