Custom color support for resource packs
I'm wondering if there's an up to date alternative for https://modrinth.com/mod/colormatic so that I can properly use Patrix with Iris again.

there's an upcoming alternative to Colormatic called Vanadium: https://modrinth.com/mod/vanadium

Vanadium - Minecraft Mod
A simple naive implementation for custom colors in resource packs with caching and blending
don't know how well it works but it's only in alpha
I'll give it a shot!
were you able to make that work because it crashes my game.
Its worth filing an issue
I was just wondering about how to code in emissive textures for a modded entity in Iris? If anyone had info or a "how to" article or something. Thankyou all for your time!
use the ETF mod
it'll allow the same uses as Optifine
okay thankyou!
are shaders able to do this?
if that true, are there any shaders that change the color of lava?
Btw seems another mod called poly tone is out
Seems to work better

Polytone - Minecraft Mod

is that suppose to work with fluids?
because its not working with lava

doesnt work
Just the opposite. Unlike Vanadium, which is trying to become a full-fledged replacement for Colormatic and fully utilizes the optifine format, Polytone works with only a tiny part of the optifine format. There 90% of the functionality requires its own custom format, which doesn't work with optifine "out of the box". It's like comparing Continuity and Fusion or CIT Resewn and Chime.
Thus far itβs worked for all color map related situations for me
Vanadium I find is highly unstable at this point still
